Winter Training Camp

Last week, the Scottish FA’s Category 1, 3SAR and some members of SCORE participated in a 4-day winter training camp in La Manga, Spain. This camp has been running for a number of years and involved 45 officials this year. It was a pretty intense 4 days, with the officials being given coaching throughout each day, physical sessions combined with classroom based sessions involving video clips and discussions. Martin Atkinson from the English FA also paid our officials a visit and talked about the new VAR system. It appears to have been a tough but very enjoyable and beneficial week for all involved.
