Become a Referee

Renfrewshire referee association run referee entrance classes twice per year  normally commencing in January and September.  These take place within the University of the West of Scotland Paisley Campus on Wednesday nights between 7pm and 9pm.

The class runs for 11 weeks and consists of classroom based work learning the Laws of the Game, with a final practical session comprising basic techniques for signalling, whistling, positioning and flagging.  All classes are conducted by our training class instructors Christopher Palmer, Gary Toland and Elaine McMillan, and we also have inputs over the course of the classes from some of our top officials.

Enquiries regarding training classes can be sent to our Facebook or Twitter pages, by directly contacting Christopher Palmer, Training Officer for Renfrewshire RA at: chris.palmer91@icloud.com, or by filling in this quick form
